Most Popular Socialist Leaders Around the World
|There are some very popular socialist leaders throughout history. Some of these popular figures include Hugo Chavez of Venezuela, Evo Morales of Bolivia, Hugo Chavez of Venezuela, and President Obama of the United States. All four of these men have been named as “most popular socialist leaders around the world.” The United States has also had its share of popular socialists, most notably Nurses’ Union leader turned President George Walker Bush.
What makes these popular socialist leaders of the world so beloved by their followers? The most popular socialist leaders in history all offer a very similar platform to their followers. They advocate for social equality, an end to corporate welfare, and an end to corporate greed. All of them want to give their followers the tools that they need in order to succeed. They offer a vision of hope and a future that is free of poverty and strife.
Fidel Castro of Cuba is perhaps the most well known communist leader around the world. He is also fondly known as the “Pepe” in the Spanish language. Castro is one of the most popular socialist leaders because he represents a vision of a better life for his people. He purports to be a communist leader who is willing to sacrifice his life for his cause, a claim that has been thoroughly verified by the hundreds of thousands who have joined him in his cause.
Fidel Castro’s most famous quote is one that he often says to his fellow Cuban citizens: “What we call freedom is no longer a crime, but the right to think.” This quote is one of the main talking points of his revolution, and it explains why he is fond of calling himself a communist leader. Many other socialist leaders around the world also have similar quotes such as these. The difference between these leaders and Fidel Castro, however, is that he has no real power behind his leadership, at least none that can be called legitimate. His iron-fisted rule, fear of free-thought, and use of state terror to keep his fellow citizens submissive has made him a pariah among many who support him.
Che Guevara was a Cuban revolutionary who became famous for leading the Cuban armament Crisis. Like Castro, he too was born poor and became educated only after he fled Cuba. Like Castro, he too claims to speak for the masses, but he is not one of them. As he purports to be a great lover of freedom and democracy – both things that he is hated for – it is easy to see how his ideas, tactics, and speeches are not remotely representative of what most Americans think or want.
Hugo Chavez of Venezuela and Evo Morales of Bolivia are two other most popular socialist leaders around the world. Both are hostile to America and have used their countries’ wealth to fund terrorism and left-leaning politics. These leaders have little legitimacy on any level, and both are unfit to lead. It is hard to see either of them leading a worthy revolution, let alone bring in an end to capitalism or the terrible policies that have caused so much suffering around the world. They are not worthy of the support of humanity.
