Ko Pha Ngan – Full Moon Party at Its Best

Why go to Ko Pha Ngan when there are so many other beaches in Thailand that are equally, or even more, beautiful? When you’ve already been to Ko Pha Ngan you know it’s just as amazing and idyllic as ever. But if you haven’t been yet, then you should really go; Thailand doesn’t do second best.

WHY GO TO THE PARTY STAGE: Like most of the beaches in Ko Pha Ngan, Ko Phangan also has two beaches: The Guesthouse Beach and The Big Buddha Rock. Between the two, the guesthouse beach has more to give. Why go to the beach on Monday, Wednesday and Friday nights to catch a show at The Big Buddha Rock, or relax at the guesthouse on Saturday, Sunday and Wednesday nights to soak up the sun? If you do, then you’ll find it just as relaxing. The two beaches are also very close to each other, so it’s easy to reach, and you can spend more time at either of the beaches while on your trip.

WHO TO LOOK FOR: You’ve already been to ko phangan, so you know it’s best known as a full moon party beach. But if you’re here for the beaches and relaxation, then you’re going to love what ko phangan has to offer you. There are many guesthouses throughout Ko Pha Ngan that can provide accommodation and get you where you want to be. But aside from the beach bars, you can expect to find some decent restaurants (not too many though), a variety of activities for kids, markets, and great shopping for anyone who’s looking for good treasures from Thailand. In short: if you’re looking for a peaceful, romantic and laid-back beach experience, this would be the perfect place for you to go.
